Keiler Roberts teaches comics at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and lives in Evanston, Illinois with her husband, daughter and dog. The Comics Journal said of her recently published third book, Miseryland, that she “captures human nature in all its quirky contradiction.” Her Ignatz-award nominated autobiographical comic Powdered Milk can be seen at www.keilerroberts.com. Her work has also been published in The Chicago Reader, Nat. Brut, Darling Sleeper,Newcity, and several anthologies. Newcity named Roberts one of the Top Five Comics Artists in Chicago in 2015. Her five-year-old daughter is midway through her 4th year of preschool and is looking forward to finally moving on to a kindergarten with a bigger playground.
