SCHOOL IS A LOT OF WORK: Comics by Keiler Roberts
Questioning the type of education I want for my daughter sent me into memories of my own public school in Wisconsin in the 80s. We were the Royal Oaks Raccoons with the school colors golden rod and brown. Almost every school memory I have revolves around embarrassment, shame, disgust, nosebleeds, and anxiety. I recorded one of my nicest memories here, and in the process realized it probably never happened and the part I was most certain about definitely wasn’t true.
